What is Dowyn?
Dowyn turns your daily tasks into an adventure. Complete tasks, earn XP, and watch your magical creature companion grow and evolve. Think of it as a to-do list that actually wants you to come back to it.
Collect and Evolve Creatures
There are 10 unique creature species to discover, each with 3 evolution stages. Unlock new Dowyns by hitting task completion milestones. The more you get done, the bigger your collection grows.
Every creature has its own personality, pixel art design, and evolution path. Watch them react when you complete tasks, level up, and evolve into something new.
Battle Your Way Through Gyms
Feeling competitive? Take your leveled-up Dowyn into the Battle Arena. It's a Pokemon-style turn-based battle system with 8 gyms, 4 Elite challengers, and a final boss fight against the Professor.
There's a full type effectiveness system with 8 elemental types, so picking the right creature for each gym actually matters. Collect badges as you go and unlock tougher opponents.
Smart Task Tracking
At its core, Dowyn is a solid task manager:
- Create unlimited tasks and organise them by day
- Drag to reorder your priorities
- Schedule tasks with a date picker
- Get suggestions based on your history
- Track daily streaks (3 tasks/day keeps the streak alive)
Guided Onboarding
Professor Wisp walks you through everything in a friendly 7-step onboarding flow. Pick your starter creature, preview its evolutions, and create your first tasks — you'll be up and running in under a minute.
